Accessibility

Cycora is built to be usable by everyone. We support the core iOS accessibility features so that every user can track their cycle, follow their plan, and feel in control — regardless of ability.

VoiceOver

All interactive elements in Cycora — including navigation tabs, sliders, toggles, symptom inputs, and premium controls — have descriptive labels, hints, and state values. Screen reader users can navigate the entire app without needing to see the screen.

Larger Text (Dynamic Type)

Cycora respects your preferred text size set in iOS Settings. Text scales from the smallest to the largest accessibility sizes, so the app remains readable and comfortable at any size you choose.

Reduce Motion

When Reduce Motion is enabled in iOS Settings, all animations in Cycora — including entrance effects, ambient background movement, and shimmer transitions — are suppressed or replaced with simple fades to prevent dizziness or discomfort.

Dark Interface

Cycora includes a built-in dark mode toggle accessible directly from the main navigation bar. Users with light sensitivity can switch to a dark interface at any time without going to iOS Settings.

How to Enable Accessibility Features

iOS accessibility features can be enabled in Settings > Accessibility on your iPhone or iPad. VoiceOver, Larger Text, and Reduce Motion are all available there. Cycora's dark mode can be toggled directly inside the app using the sun/moon button in the navigation bar.
